We had our review and the tutors had a great deal to say about the level for our opportunity to feed forward for the last two weeks of 'Off The Map'. One of the areas that effected me apart from the fixes to texture maps and such was that the lighting needed a complete overhaul. I decided to delete every light out of the level and start from scratch. I basically got the first light in the level and edited and tested it to the point where I should only have to tweak it from that point onward. I have finally got the lighting to a point where I am really happy with it and it should only need touch ups when new textures and materials are applied within the level. At the same time I am creating assets like hay bales and fire torches and I will make another post explaining this in more depth.
