This week was all about modelling and getting stuff into angine as quickly we can.
We all worked incredibly hard this week. Group issues have been sorted out once and for all, and everything is much more relaxed and running more smoothly for it. Most seem comfortable with the pace and are producing excellent work very quickly without too much worry about deadlines or problems.
We have all been preparing ourselves for the presentation next week. The level was tweaked on Friday and everyone knows what they need to sort over the weekend, though there isn't too much pressure, as we're only halfway through and no one is expecting a polished level. Most of the main assets are completely modelled and unwrapped now, and many are also textured, which if nothing else puts us slightly ahead of schedule, and saves us all the headache of texturing all of the assets over easter break.
More technical aspects are being developed in engine, such as particle effects and atmospheric fog, and the lighting is being adjusted more as the skybox and various textured assets have been placed in and around the level.
