It dawned on me this week that I had been casually dropping the concept art ball so I decided to get on some painting. This week has been a slow one as everyone is taking a bit of a week for the holidays to work out what needs to be done and take a breather from the crunch time. I have created two separate concepts to help me with the environment inside and out of the tent as well as working on the modular train track alongside creating a tiling material for when I create my train tunnel. This week will then feed into week 6 where I can jump right back into production and getting that main circus tent finalised, textured and in level. I can then focus all my time on creating the smaller assets to give our level a bit more life whilst doing some panning normal maps, animation and particle effects still to come in the future.
