Jodi Shadforth - Week Four - Look at the Scenery

This week we've all been preparing for the presentstion with the tutors. I've really pushed to get texturing done so we can see if any changes need to be made when everything is together in the engine on Monday, and I'm fairly confident that what I have so far works. Kara's colour scheme selection was extremely helpful, and I spent time mixing and matching different schemes in my tent and stalls to see what worked best.

My texturing for my main props is done now, though I'm happy to tweak colours and make adjustments if any are needed. I haven't seen them in engine yet, so a lot of work might be needed to make sure they fit in (Though I hope not)! Max didn't show off my assets too well, so these are all just diffuse with a struggling alpha map. I'm excited to see it in engine tomorrow with all of the maps working.

I love what everyone is making, they're all doing so well and I feel like we're really pulling our weight as a team, and as individuals. The dynamic we have going is great, feedback is flowing and the work is being done in a timely manner.

The level itself is looking better and better as we tweak it. Not much more has been changed, but we're slowly replacing the whitebox with the actual assets, and it's really coming together. More than anything else I think we all have something to be proud of already, and that as long as we keep going at the pace we are, we can acheive more than we first hoped.
