Week One: Roll on the Beginning!

Absentees: None

Our meeting this week was mainly to establish what we could create as a team.

We came up with so many ideas! Some wackier than others, but we narrowed it down to two main ones that really gets our gears going.

1. +The Vanderbilt Manor+, a semi-realistic, warped-style , slightly spooky exploration game where you creep the corridors of an affluent Victorian manor. As you explore from room to room, you discover in each one a different element of Victorian entertainment, ranging from a bit of drag to the world of the occult! Find all the pieces of ticket to take the train at the end of the level, and make your escape!

2. "Where's Ted?" (placeholder name), again in semi-realism, but this time the style is bright, cute and full of golden lights. You play as a young Victorian girl gallivanting through a travelling circus, each small tent making a nod to the important performers at the time (List from British Library) and having a small activity to do inside (collecting, riddles, funny dialogues...). At the end, you gain access to the Big Top, a large tent with a twirling jumping puzzle, finally finding your long-lost Ted!
