Noemi Molnar - Week 3 - Keep The Ideas Flowing

'Noemi Molnar - Week 3 - Keep The Ideas Flowing'

Beginning of this week I did research on the Main Tent for the Victorian Circus.
I have started with writing down ideas for assets:
  • Podiums
  • Animal 'Training Boards' - where they do tricks
  • Drapes
  • Lights
  • A ticketbooth
  • Posters
  • Trapeze Wires
  • Seats
  • Stage
  • Stilts (what the clowns use)
  • Catching Nets
  • Ropes
  • Background Props for the back of the Stage

I have also found some information online that was describing circus entertainments back in the time. This is part of the moodboard.

After this I also did a quick concept presenting an idea on how the level layout could be changed. This however felt too late to put forward. Still it was something I enjoyed to make.

Furthermore I was starting to make one of the assets - The Fountain.
I did sketched and moodboard research. This was after researching possible middle pieces that could be part of the level. But I decided on a fountain as it seemed more practical.

My main idea is to create an abandoned fountain, that is still from the Victorian Era, but about 40-50 years old and is hidden in the forest. It would be part of the park where the circus is.

These are the first silhouettes for the fountain. With theses variations of different parts I can create the design I want.  (Edit: However I feel like it will need more variations for it to work, which I shall add with my next week`s post.)
